The Crimson Tide lost to Texas A&M because they did not win the game.  They did not win because of three turnovers….because they did not bring offensive intensity at the beginning of the game allowing  A&M’s passion to flourish…20-0 before Bama got off the couch.  Now, this is not to say that the Aggies are not a good team; they are and that is why Alabama did not win.  You can not defeat a team as good as they are without playing winning football.

The fact is that Alabama played like a championship team for part of the game.  They lost because they left no room for error.  That was not enough room against a good team led by a great player.  Cody Mandell was outstanding for Alabama.  Johnny Manziel was great for Texas A&M.  Mandell accounted for  4 plays.  Manziel had 49 plays by his name in the score book.  Even with all this the Tide had the ball in hand with a little over 2 minutes to go and a go ahead touchdown  6 yards away.  I would still like to see what could have happened if the quality backs had four quality attempts behind the quality line of Alabama.
